 Cheaper Metal than Iron Gym Pull up bar September 1, 2010

I purchased this because of the convenient package with the resistance bands. The bands a great! But the pull-up bar rates par. I borrowed a friends pull up bar made by iron gym. The iron gym pull up bar was solid. There was no flex in the metal when using it. (I weigh about 140lbs). This pull up bar must be made of a weaker/ cheaper metal and it flexes, even when I do a pull up. I would be afraid of a 250 lb person using this bar. I wish they sold the bands separately. If you are looking for just a bar, I would recommened bars made my iron gym.
Missing Screws August 21, 2010

The pull up bar was missing screws and could not be assembled without a trip to the hardware store. I'm sure the seller would send the parts, but it was easier for us to take care of it. Other than that significant inconvenience, it's a good set. The resistance bands are great.

We ordered this set of resistance bands and pull-up bar to use in our home workout routines, and were impressed with the apparent quality and value when it arrived. We ran into a problem, however, when we started assembling the chin-up bar. The two L-shaped bars were bent at different angles, making the whole bar sit crooked in our doorframe. My husband contacted BMP and was very pleasantly surprised by their customer service. BMP had another chin-up bar in the mail to us on the same day we talked, and it arrived about 3 days later. Problem solved. They even threw in a bonus resistance band for us. Not every day you run into such awesome customer service.
In short: The products are great and if you have a problem they go above and beyond to help. Buy it!

I purchased this product with some caution because of the lack of reviews. I would like to reassure everybody that this is truly a high quality product. The only thing that I found a little spectacle was the pull up bar dose bend and flex when I am hanging on it. I do weigh 265 lbs so I guess that is understandable. I do not think in any way the pull up bar will break. Also I found the video link in the instruction manual extremely helpful when putting this pull up bar together, even though it was not the exact same pull up bar. In summary, I thought this was a great purchase that was package well, shipped fast, and was high quality.
