I purchased these shoes from [...] first. They were not true to size so my mom bought them from me. Then I purchase the same shoe from a department store so I could try them on. I had to go up a whole size. I've returned this shoes twice, first the sole can apart after 2 weeks of wear. I returned them and now the side seams have come apart. I wear these shoes to work ( I do a lot of standing). I own a part of the shape ups and have enjoyed them for over 18 months. I suggest you don't waste you money on these. I'm returning again for Reebok.

I probably would have loved these IF they had fit - that is, been 'sized' true.
I can wear a 7, if it is soft leather, like a jazz type shoe. Soft leather will form to one's foot in the first wearing. I normally wear a 7.5, but I always buy an 8 for my exercise shoes as I like the toe 'wiggle' room. Feet swell . . .
So I purchased an 8 medium, expecting they'd fit like my running shoes. NOT. The inside of this shoe is a 7, at best, and my toes are right up against the toe.
I measured them to my other size 8 shoes, and the outsides are the same as my other 8s. But the insides of this shoe fit like a 7. And the shoe is hard, thick, and very stiff.
Still, I tried wearing them, to break them in. They are an 8, after all . . .
Wearing them, to 'break' them in, did not help. My big toes were sore as heck, almost blistered.
I clipped my toe nails down to the stubs, and pulled the insert out and tried again the next day, this time with wet socks. This did not help. And of course, now I cannot return them.
Even if I had returned them for 9s, paying the return shipping, the 9s cost $20 more than the 8's. Huh? I would not have paid $100 for these shoes. I bought them for $80 - which was the right price for me - until the true inner size issue bit me on the foot - so to speak. Now it is $80 flushed right down the toilet.
FINALLY, I checked inside the shoe. The seam that runs over the toes, and bulges up on the outside, also runs over the toes on the inside, and bulges right there, hitting the toes, and making the shoe at least a size smaller on the inside. Lousy design. A big fat 0 stars for design of these shoes.
In desperation, to salvage what I can here, I have purchased some shoe stretchers and a spray that says it is for use on nubuck, the material used in these shoes. I hope this works. Even if it does work, it will not change this review.
Buyer beware. Since this happened to me, I have read reviews on other Skecher shoes - and am finding MANY reviews saying the same thing - the shoes are sized on the inside about 1 size down. At least. Maybe I'd have needed a 9 1/2 - to get that extra toe-wiggle room I prefer in my exercise shoes. And the outside of the shoes would have been a 9 1/2, the inside - an 8??? Clown feet . . . No thank you. You get my point.
If anyopne is still interested, I suggest you go to a store and try them on - FIRST - before buying any Skecher shoe. ME - I am ticked off enough to never try/buy another Skecher product.

I purchased these shoes after falling in love with my MBT shoes. I hoped to find something a little more stylish than my tennis shoes. These were perfect and insanely comfortable.
BUT, after a week of normal walking, the side stitching began to blow out of my shoe.
I must thank Amazon for their great and easy return policy, but the shoes themselves were a real disappointment.
