This is the first yoga mat I've ever seen that looked like it was cut by an unsteady child with safety scissors. It's not anti slip at all - I was sliding around during a very gentle, air-conditioned evening practice. And there is no extra thickness - it's a standard thin mat. I'm very disappointed with the purchase.

Got this mat to do yoga at home. Unfortunately as soon as I break a sweat I start slipping, particularly in poses like downward facing dog that puts weight on my hands and feet. If I try to hold the post my hands and feet gradually get farther and farther apart and eventually I'm on the floor.
Also, this mat is a little too thin for me, as my floors are concrete in the living room where I'd like to work out. On my carpeted rooms it's ok.
I got the lime green mat and it's a nice bright color which I love. I just wish there was a little more padding and a little more anti-slip to it.

I purchased this mat a little over a month ago and I've been extremely satisfied.
I use it every morning on an outside wooden deck. It provides plenty of cushion and, so far, seems very durable.

This mat works well for my Bikram hot yoga practice at home. I use it over low-pile carpeting, and it keeps me from slipping in postures like triangle, even while sweating a lot. I cover it with a towel (Hot Yoga Mat Towel 2 Pack for Bikram Ashtanga Iyengar) only for the floor postures. I'm very pleased with its performance, and the price is terrific compared to other yoga mats.

Extremely thin. Bought it so I could exercise on a linoleum floor. This mat adds little comfort. You get what you pay for, or in this case you get less than what you pay for. The yellow color I chose, however, is quite attractive and brightens up the room.
